About Us

Superior K9 Training Academy is a comprehensive canine training facility located in Chattahoochee Hills, GA. Missy Schmidt, owner and founder of SKTA, has been professionally training dogs since 1993 and has developed her own style of training through many years of experience. Her training methods were developed based on firsthand experience using a combination of Schutzhund and tactical styles of training, with specializations in service work and protection. At the foundation of our training is Obedience, an absolute necessity for every dog.

Our mission is to help owners and their companions reach their full potential through high quality training, premium health and wellness supplements, and elite training equipment. Our training programs are fit for all breeds and are fully customizable based on the needs of our clients. Superior K9 Training Academy guarantees that you will see dramatic results and have full confidence in your companion when you choose us as your trusted trainers.
